Rain is a natural cooling mechanism, so your workout will actually be more enjoyable than on a sunny day.
Wear appropriate footwear for humid conditions
Try to avoid wearing new sneakers for training in the rain. Save them for a better time to keep all the features and support you bought them for longer.
For running in the rain, it is better to wear old sneakers or waterproof sneakers intended for running in the rain.
Waterproof is not the same as Water-resistant keep that in mind

The material will prevent water penetration, but only up to a certain level. Therefore, it is not completely resistant to water penetration. Water will enter or leave the product or material when exposed to high water levels.

Dress in layers and be visible
You can never be too dressed because you can always take off one layer. And the most important layer is the one that is closest to your body.
Invest in equipment and wear a moisture-wicking fabric that incorporates quick-drying technology. Wearing clothes that can absorb water and sweat away from your skin will help you maintain your body temperature. It will also protect you from wind and colds (imagine a soaked and glued cotton T-shirt next to your body when you encounter a gust of wind, not a very good picture)
Your outer layer should be a light jacket resistant to wind or water. If you decide to wear a waterproof jacket, it will retain moisture and heat inside, which can be great in winter, but too warm in autumn or spring.
Choose equipment that has reflective details on it to be visible to drivers in traffic during rain.
Tip plus: Wear a rain cap
The cap can also be useful when it is raining. Apart from the fact that your head will be a little drier, the more significant effect of the cap is to prevent rain from falling on your face and eyes, so you will see better.
Avoid running during thunderstorms
While running in the rain is good, running during thunderstorms is crossing the safety line. Rain can’t hurt you, but if lightning strikes you it can. Don’t risk running outside if there is thunder in the surroundings – it is best to run indoors.
